Coherent Constructs is a studio of myself, Eric Dubé, and anyone in my network I can contract to work on the project. These are very talented developers with individual niches. This software studio may just starting out, but you're contracting myself and my colleagues with decades of experience.
I have been writing software since I was a kid teaching myself backend web programming, and professionally since 2014. Since then I have worked across startups of every size, as the first employee and CTO of one, and as a developer inside other people’s engineering teams. I’ve seen a lot of ways software gets built, and a lot of ways it falls apart.
Most recently I was CTO at Puter, where I built and ran the backend, kept the production servers alive - including while they were under attack - and integrated just about every major AI API into the product. Before that I wrote code-generation and developer tooling at Cisco, led a multi-tenant onboarding system at Nanopay, and built a cryptocurrency trading engine in Go at Investabit. I hold a Software Engineering degree from Ontario Tech, and I still contribute to and maintain open-source projects.
